Broken spoke nipple, new wheel?

I crashed my 08 specialized stumpjumper. The front wheel land on my helmet side ways. One of the spokes broke at the nipple. The bike shop said it is untrueable, and that I need a new wheel. I can't use it now because it is so wobbly. Can I fix it?
